I really like this sunset. It shows different contrasts.
For example, one can see the orange sky touching the blue horizon of the sea, which is very distinctive as blue is the opposite/invert colour of orange.
The dark shadowy colours of the rock go well against the light and shiny reflections of the seawater. (In a way, black and white, dark and pale contrast). It makes both objects distinctive and in a way realistic (like it is coming out of the picture).
T'is one of my favourite sunset from your recent sunset paintings. Jolly well done, John!
