John, this is a beautiful painting. I love the way you've let the light play on the edges of the rocky outcroppings on the mountain on the right side and the smooth glow of the emerald field on the bottom. The sky is also amazing. It totally reminds me of a real storm.
THis is such an atmospheric painting and a wonderful example of landscape taken just one step further into true art. I usually don't feel that just pure landscape painting in itself is fine art, but this goes beyond that. Well done!
