BLOWN GLASS PAPERWEIGHT

I've recently had the opportunity to try my hand at the thrilling art of glass blowing and here is one of the first successful pieces. It's a multicolored paperweight with some bubbles inside... a fairly simple piece but very exciting to work with molten glass at 2,400 degrees!

This is a very strange old water tower that I ran across out in the hills East of San Diego. It has been overgrown with a tree that has since died and left this odd looking structure.

OLD POINT LOMA LIGHTHOUSE IV - STEP I

Today I begin by painting in the sky of a 14"x18" oil of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse. The lighthouse is my best selling subject down at Shelter Island where it is visible just across the harbor. It will sell framed for about $250 when it is finished.

This sculpture of a pair of doves that I sculpted for Figi is used both as a lamp base and a candle holder. I love when they make multiple products from one of my sculptures.

STORMY SEAS - REVISED

I have re-worked this painting to reflect more of the blue in the sky and toned down a lot of the brilliant green. I've also blurred the horizon quite a bit.
