BLOWN GLASS PAPERWEIGHT


I've recently had the opportunity to try my hand at the thrilling art of glass blowing and here is one of the first successful pieces. It's a multicolored paperweight with some bubbles inside... a fairly simple piece but very exciting to work with molten glass at 2,400 degrees!

OLD POINT LOMA LIGHTHOUSE IV - STEP I


Today I begin by painting in the sky of a 14"x18" oil of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse. The lighthouse is my best selling subject down at Shelter Island where it is visible just across the harbor. It will sell framed for about $250 when it is finished.
